) I know how freakin' SCARY hard rain and strong winds are, I was kinda... OUTSIDE when the Hurricane was approching the beach, running around, bringing chairs and other patio thingies inside. I knew I had a little time to bring in everything and get the heck outta there but if you hear one of those tornado sirens, YOU BETTER GET THE HECK INTO A STORM SHELTER HOLY MOTHER oF A KANO JUST DROP EVERYTHING AND RUN. (I actually thought Sandy wasn't going to be terrible, we had hurricane Irene the year before) And to think, most of the people who died or were injured were kids. In school. Without a storm shelter, most just hid in the hallway. I hope your prayers go to them, like you

Left and so did another kid who was with us.. leaving me alone in the school parking lot... in the dark. Every now and then a car would pull up and it was usually a maintenance guy who just walked into the school with equipment, but other than that it was just me standing in dead silence.I noticed a light that I thought was a star until it kept getting bigger because it was coming towards me. I didn't hear anything coming from it but I thought it was a plane or something. Then, I see two lights blinking in non corresponding orders, like the left light would blink 3 times, then the right 1 time, left 5 times, and well yeah, you get the point.
As it got closer I saw another other light that was in front of the pair. By this time, it was going right over the school and the sky got lighter in that area due to school lights and Austin lights. I could see that it was very close to the ground, which enabled me to see that the lights were on the bottom of the object. As it went over the school, it's silhouette was a triangle. By this time my jaw has dropped and I pull out my phone and start recording, which conveniently had 2% battery left, but I still got a video of it. In the video though, you can only see one light and it's too dark to see the silhouette. My phone died after about 10 seconds of recording it.
And the thing is, this was SO close to the ground, yet I didn't hear anything! No motor, no nothing. I mean this thing was in the shape of a perfect black triangle!
When my dad finally got there, I told him and he didn't believe me. He said it was an aircraft but I have never seen a black equilateral triangle with 3 blinking lights at the bottom making absolutely no sound and going as slow as humanly possible.
Until today I never believed in this kind of thing. I still can't believe it happened.
Well, that was the highlight of my day! : D I hope you enjoyed my little experience, even though no one got abducted or anything, but still it was really neat. ^^
